Before choosing a culinary education, taste one. Two weeks in Lucerne, CHF 3'900 all-inclusive — and the full fee is credited towards first-year tuition of an eligible BHMS Bachelor if you enrol within two years.
What it is
The first rung on the ladder
The BHMS Summer Camp brings 16–19-year-olds to Lucerne for two weeks, 11 – 24 July 2027 — a real taste of professional kitchens, Swiss hospitality and student life at the Swiss Culinary Academy, alongside a cohort of friends from every continent.

What you do
Fourteen days, zero spectating
Camp days run hands-on with BHMS chefs — the same instructors who teach the Academy's diploma and bachelor students.
Swiss specialties
Cook the classics of the country that invented modern hospitality — Swiss dishes, prepared the Swiss way.
Hotel behind-the-scenes
Tour working hotels behind the scenes — from the kitchen pass to the banquet floor, where culinary careers actually happen.
Mount Pilatus & Lake Lucerne
Excursions to Mount Pilatus and out on the lake — Switzerland's postcard landscape, built into the programme.

Two weeks of shared kitchens and shared tables build friendships that span the globe — many campers return as classmates.

Your camp fee comes back as a scholarship
Every participant receives a CHF 3'900 scholarship voucher: the full camp fee is credited towards first-year tuition of an eligible BHMS Bachelor programme if you enrol within two years. Try the career first — then let the camp count towards the degree.
