All-inclusive
One fee. Everything included.
- Home. Shared campus apartment (2–4 students), linens and towels provided and laundered weekly. Upgrades to private studios from CHF 6'600/year.
- Food. Three meals a day on weekdays at the City Campus Restaurant, brunch and dinner on weekends and holidays at Lakeside — dietary needs covered at no extra cost.
- Health. Swiss health & accident insurance, with cover up to CHF 1'000'000 per illness.
- Practicalities. Visa and B-permit administration, local taxes, Wi-Fi everywhere, excursions, and pickup at Zurich Airport on first arrival.
- Kitchen kit. Knife set and uniforms included — and the school launders your whites free of charge.

The three paid internships inside the bachelor return a guaranteed gross minimum of CHF 43,000+ (all-Swiss placements) — earning back more than a third of the three-year investment before graduation day.
In countryside and resort placements where the employer provides room and board, students typically keep around CHF 1,500 a month — up to ~CHF 27,000 saved across the degree. At most culinary schools abroad, work placements are short and unpaid. In Swiss hospitality, paid internships are the law.

How much does culinary school at BHMS cost?
The diploma year is CHF 39,100 all-inclusive; the full three-year bachelor totals about CHF 120,300. Shorter routes exist too: the two-week Summer Camp is CHF 3,300 and the 10-week Certificate is CHF 21,500. Every figure covers tuition, accommodation, meals, insurance and more in one invoice — and the bachelor is offset by CHF 43,000+ in guaranteed gross internship earnings.
What exactly is included in the fee?
